DIU Achievements
Sadeequr Rahman, Student of Journalism and Mass Media Communication of Daffodil International University left Dhaka today on 7 November 2017 to attend @Ringerike International Youth Film Festival (RIYFF) in Norway from 7 to 10 November 2017 and GEO Film Festival and Expocinema in Italy from 11 to 13 November 2017 where his short film 'A Letter to God' is officially selected to screen with other films from around the world.
His short file 'A letter to God' is not only exhibiting this 2 festivals but also exhibited and awarded some other national and international film festivals previously of this year. Daffodil International University is proud for his achievement and took the initiative to cooperate him with partial travel scholarship to attend the festivals and grab more opportunities to learn and achieve more success.
All Stars Daffodil played their drama "মানুষ ব্যাপ্ত মানুষ" "দিক আন্তঃবিশ্ববিদ্যালয় নাট্য উৎসব ২০১৭ "at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST)
A new dimension has been added by the "All Stars Daffodil", a drama club of Daffodil International University. They performed a drama titled "মানুষ ব্যাপ্ত মানুষ"in the closing ceremony of "দিক আন্তঃবিশ্ববিদ্যালয় নাট্য উৎসব ২০১৭ "at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST), Sylhet on 8th November 2017 at 6:30pm in SUST Central Auditorium. The festival was organized by "Dik Theatre", a drama club of SUST. "মানুষ ব্যাপ্ত মানুষ" is written by Mr. Shammo Sabur and directed by Mr. Shafi Rahman. The story is basically based on the affliction and discrimination among the people from another country or the people called refugees.
Mr. Syed Raihan, Senior Administrative Officer of International Affairs, Daffodil International University (DIU) attended in the 19th World Festival of Youth and Students 2017 of Youth and Students in Sochi Olympic Park, Russia from 14 to 22 October 2017 to represent DIU in a grand gathering of 25 thousand youths from around the world. During the participation, he met officials and representatives of Bauman Moscow State Technical University, Russia, University of Grodno, Belarus, Lomonosov Moscow State University, Kazan Federal University, Moscow State Institute of International Relations (МГИМО-Университет), Russia to discuss for academic partnership, exchanging students as well as welcoming students to participate in the International Social Business Summer Program-2018 (ISBSP) at DIU in Bangladesh.
Signed MOUs for Opportunities!
Ten bilateral agreements (MOU) between DIU and some reputed universities from Philippines, Cambodia, China, and Indonesia were signed during the occasion. Mr. Khan, on DIU's behalf, signed the agreements with his counterparts, respectively.
The great outcomes of the discussion and MOUs between DIU and other international universities are to initiate: student and faculty exchange, summer school, faculty training, short visits, dual degrees, credit transfer, joint research, scholarship, etc. in coming days.
Daffodil International University proudly joined in EURASIAN UNIVERSITIES UNION (EURAS) networkLaunched in 2008, EURAS - Eurasian Universities Union is the non-profit union covering universities and other higher education institutions within Eurasian region to promote and extend the mutual cooperation among over 90 universities from all across West and Central Europe, Balkans, Caucasus, Middle East as well as the whole of Asia and working for the global advancement of educational standards in the Eurasian region.

Boseiwaqa Taginavulau, Director General, CIRDAP exchanging documents of MoU on "Activity Project Proposal" to fabricate a Multi-Commodity Solar Tunnel Dryer (MCSTD). Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Yousuf M Islam and other high officials of Daffodil International University were present at the signing ceremony.
